There’s a price for everything one does, though not always money. The Fink just paid his. Slork?

I might waste a brick or two on him, but not food – unless it were fruitcakes. They have the similar properties.

The castle cook can dump them in a soup pot and boil them, once they get the King out.

Yea, but from the looks of that, the food quality is awful bad.

Having worked in the farming industry it is sad to see so many farmers going out of business. Cities want the land for better tx revenue, farmers get practically no profit off them. The middle man storage companies that hold the food until stores need/want it make up a huge chunk of the price increase. I can buy a 100 pound (yes a 100 pound) bag of potatoes for 15 -20 dollars or so directly from the farmer. Just got to drive there to do so. Grocery store sells 5 pound bags for 4 bucks, must be the transportation mark up and the storage markup or something.

Simple economics:Wheat goes up, bread goes up.Wheat goes down, bread stays up.

This was proven several years ago when coffee was in short supply and restaurants raised the price of coffee. But when coffee was again plentiful, the price at the restaurants held!

How can the king dictate food prices? And why? That is what caused shortages in communist Russia. Oh wait… Id is not much better.
