Ah, Susan, you are just too funny. For me I’ll get up and brew a cup of Sleepytime tea and sit and knit or crochet for an hour. If I’m home alone I may turn on the tv.

Once finished with GoComics, on a normal night, I may watch a bit of TV, or if really tired will go straight to bed. Sometimes, I may find that the process has dragged out (as, e.g., today). Thank goodness I’m retired and don’t have to be up by a set time!
