Aquariums, aquaria…US education has pretty much flushed classics like Latin down the toilet. Not relevant. But it sure helps learning anatomy if you go into medicine (personal experience). Consider also Latin word roots in English words and Romance languages, scientific names in biology, and on and on. But, sorry, not relevant.

Aquariums is correct, folks! Aquaria works, but isn’t something 8 year old children would say. Not 55 year old cartoonists, either.

Aquaria was the correct plural until fairly recently, but this is the dawning of the age of aquariums.
