HOW soggy?

Just read the Snicker-Snack box Linus.

I know how Linus feels. That’s why I have my meals either in front of the computer or in front of the TV — I can’t stand eating without accompaniment!

Somebody didn’t work out the logistics of the situation to his best advantage…

Have you thought about finding something to read, Linus, BEFORE pouring milk into your bowl of crereal?

Read a Peanuts comic book.

Come on Linus, you’re smart enough to know you should find the reading material first!

But then Schulz would reason that that’s not funny.

I never was one to eat and read. If I were, I would have eaten more soggy cereal than I cared to.

Cap’n Crunch stays crunchy, even in milk, Linus.

A “RATS!” moment if ever there was. A gentle suggestion is to find a read before pouring the milk or even getting the cold milk from the fridge. Just saying…

BTW: I love cereal again about 10PM before bed. I don’t go to bed with hunger pains, but it’s a light snack.

I sympathize with cleaoh here, Linus.

Ironically, I’m eating my cereal this morning while reading this comic.

That’s quite the ‘library’ the Van Pelt family keepsI was eating as I read these comics online.My pizza didn’t get soggy though.

Keep eating cookies but eat healthily too.

Incidentally, that’s also why I never put milk on my cereal. I always eat it dry, and drink the milk from a glass the way God intended. My cereal always stays nice and crunchy that way!

He should have had cookies and milk.

I remember this strip too when I was a kid. I’d usually be reading my Hightlights magazine or Peanuts comic book while I ate my cereal.

Linus, Linus, Linus. Silly boy! Find your reading material BEFORE you pour the milk.

Just eat it dry,Linus.

Linus is a deep thinker and as such he is kind of scatterbrained (there was that memorable eggshell episode). So it’s fitting for him to do things like this.

I have one of those cereal bowls where you put the cereal on top sort of and the milk in a depression next to it. So you can move over about 2 or 3 spoons into the milk, and the rest stays dry.
