Replying (again) to yesterday’s comment by Mr. Smith. I beg to differ. You misunderstand me . I was not “whining about how you were treated once when you were a child.” I was describing an event which changed the way I treat others. As a result, I now try to behave with kindness and respect to all people, not just children, avoiding put-downs and insults (which serve no useful purpose beyond giving the person making them a spurious sense of superiority)
Meanwhile, today on Creator’s .com, Ruthie is trying to feed ninja kitty, but discovers that her act of kindness is intercepted by a different critter altogether.
Any foreign object that gets stuck in the skin is painful (more so if it has any chemicals which are also irritating) and the removal (or attempt) is another irritation. Moms have to do their best with all the adversities and such that children get themselves into.

Panel 3: I’ve never seen Ruthie with such an ugly expression before.

A couple of times in the past, I have had metal slivers penetrate my skin. Believe me, they hurt a LOT more than the wooden ones do!

Metal pieces are bad enough, but fiberglass pieces can’t even be found…….
