@ neatslob and all (If you care): Oops. Yesterday I must have let Willie’s name ‘throw me’ into thinking of Wiley Miller of Nonsequitur. Too many comics roaming through my head.And yes, I’ll try to get a life.

“Goat Teepee” – LOL! Now I’ll have a hard time not thinking that the next time I see a goatee.

In today’s comic on creators.com, Mom is reminding Ruthie not to leave the door open, because who knows what might come in? Too late, Mom!

Well, thank you. Your odd comment prompted me to look into yesterday’s comments and discover the one @mabrndt wrote about Willie’s arrival and how the daily strips from that time archived here are in color… but in different colors than the versions in creators.com, including a brown Willie.  Fascinating. (Thanks to @mabrndt also, of course.)

It’ll be really hard to get a goat in that teepee. :P

@mabrndt: I also left you some observations about the changes in coloring in both sites since you seem to like that kind of trivia.

mabrndt and Strod:Thanks for all that – I had no idea where Willie came from.

Mabrndt has always been very helpful at finding the information behind things (noteably at the “Priceless” cartoon).

Ruthie let in that crow again; I can hardly wait to see what adventures a bit of bird thievery will invite.
