Panel 4 is Ruthie’s expression that says “Yep – PERFECT amount of my Mom’s expensive perfume!”

American Cuckoos are better parents than the European ones – who knew? Ruthie, I guess (at today’s Creators).

Excellent love and mom returning love to Ruthie. Yes a mom is always loved and children should not worry about losing their mom so young.

This is one of the better comic strips. Great story lines and superb art work. No one else captures the expressions on the faces as well as Rick Detorie

DAZZ: In the western hemisphere, cowbirds are parasitic breeders. Remember, Walt Kelly represented real communists as two cowbirds. (It was a time when progressives were called communists, like now terrorist is the favored term by fascists).

-Ruthie’s expression in Panel 4, I thought it was a valentine for Buggy Crispino-LOL!! I thought her expression was because she’s pretty much a tom-boy (do they still use that expression?), and perfume isn’t her thing.-But surprising the Library Lady is always her thing…
