    I can understand commenting here on the Creators strip because the comments there are not user friendly. I always read the new strips on Arcamax because they use Disqus

    @Night, I did not know that they become bitter after blooming either (if that’s true). My parrots used to like any freshly picked and washed dandelion leaves. They did not like celery, but the MacCaws in the pet store do. Cuddles only ate celery if it was part of a salad with mayo or such (chicken salad, egg or potato).

    I’ve had dandelions leaves before, and they taste like butter if you can get them as they are babies. When they flower they are bitter because the plant is more focused on the flower, and has been scorched in the sun. They can also give you a stomach ache when they have flowers.
