Farmers Market Remember, guys- don't touch. Oh, mom- it's ok to touch the produce. Whataya say, guys? Want to learn how to choose your own food? Can we throw these? No. If you can't squish 'em, are they ripe? That's not... Yuck! That feels nasty! I might be allergic to this... Wah choo Wow! These really roll... Oops! These nearly fit in my nose! Smell! Waking up in Kenosha. The Festival Of Cartoon Art is done! For all of you who were here- It was fantastic to meet you. For everyone who bought a book- It was particularly fantastic to meet you. For everyone who wasn’t here- You wish you had been. Several times in the event, it was roomfuls of cartoonists, and a serious amount of fun.

We have several Farmer’s Markets that run from May longweekend to Thanksgiving in October. (all local produce) Kids are regulated to the sidelines to hold on to the dogs, the babies and extra carry bags. and why?.because we adults are like a hoard of locusts! Worse than the kids!

Sarah needs to buy one of each type of fruit, and sit down, and explain how to tell if each is ripe or not. Durian, for example, is ripe when it burns the hair out of your nostrils.

I’m still getting tomatoes out of the back yard. Picked 5 today and see a few more that will be ready later in the week.
