“I look forward to Dec. 21 because then the days begin to get longer.”#Is’t that supposed to be Mayan Dooms Day? If so, there won’t be any days after.

i’m the weird one in my family, I love this time of year. I love winter, even with the cold and the snow. I don’t say it at loud, my family really don’t like this time of year.

ALLAN, I will feed you, good Italian cooking, but my house is small, no extra rooms, and as for the laundry, YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN! You may use my washer and dryer but I AIN’T DOING IT FOR YOU! :-D

Under MY seasonal shift the first day of what WAS winter becomes the first day of spring because the days grow longer and a cold snowy day in February is just “an aberration.” the first day of what WAS spring then becomes the first day of summer, the summer solstice becomes the first day of fall because the days start to get shorter. The autumnal equinox becomes the first day of winter which means the lousiest season of the year is over with the winter solstice.
Of course I’ll have to rethink this when I flee to New Zealand in the southern hemisphere after Obama is defeated.
