I’d say Humpty’s an ostrich egg.

Good for Alice! Not at all taken in by the Humpty Dumpty sat on a chair nonsense.

Oh, Dill! You speak for so many of us. Learning so much in one day hurts my head! The Miss Blisses of the world need to give us a break!

A cracked egg.

You know, I just realized that one of the (many!) characters I’m especially going to miss is, umm … I don’t even remember her name … the girl at Petey’s summer comic drawing class whose hair accessories kept poinging off. I particularly loved her meta-drawings! How is it possible that we won’t see more of them in the future?? Something is not right.

Yeah, Dill’s brain is begining to hurt. But we still don’t know if Humpty Dumpty was a good or bad egg!

We learned last year that he’s a Golden Goose egg.

Of course, so is Peanuts, but those old b&w strips are now being colored. So I guess I really didn’t answer the question after all. :(

Add me to the newbies who, while we’d much rather Richard was well enough to do new strips, are happy we can catch up on the ones we missed.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t let the colorization monkeys ruin Cul de Sac! Let them go on typing Shakespeare; they’re better at that.
