Now I can’t get that song from The Cars out of my head. Not that I want to. It’s one of my favourite songs. (Let the Good Times Roll).

I feel entitled to have pairs of socks come out of the washer.

They must be knit from stiff fibres if they’re that shape while damp from the washing machine.

No missing sock? M’eh, it’s Sunday… even the Dryer Monster gets a day off.

But are they a match?

The guy on the right needs to run out and buy a lottery ticket!

Wondering what happens if you wash and dry socks exactly one matching pair at a time. (I haven’t yet bothered to try it. But then, my socks don’t disappear all at once… only a hole at a time.)

This is the wealthy person’s version of “stand your ground”.

The good news is they both came out, the bad news is they’re supposed to be white.

Ha! While the defendant is being cross examined, in another part of town, someone does laundry.

I have multiple pairs of mismatched socks.

I just reorganized my sock drawer. I had more single socks than pairs!
