My husband found some candy cancer-sticks in a novelty store about ten years ago, and passed them out to the trick-or-treaters. Man, did their moms ever get PO’ed at him!
Years ago our local gag shop, Stoner’s (the name of the owner and not a reflection on their personality) carried fake cigarettes and cigars that had a very long ash on them, apparently they also contained some powder because if you tapped then some “ash dust” made it look like smoke. The shop is still in business after 60s years and still sells the same funny goofy and tasteless crap that delighted the young (at heart) and annoyed the hell out of the parents.
As a 90s kid I still saw candy cigarettes in a couple of nearby corner stores early in the decade, but by the late 90s they were gone. I tried them a couple of times and didn’t like it.

I wonder if they still make candy cigarettes. Also, at least we know Kevin wasn’t dumb enough to smoke in school.

And no shirt sleeve to roll the pack in. That’s half the image if you really want to stir up the principal.

Actually, I always thought they tasted like Pepto-Bismol. . .

In France we had chocolate cigarettes and then they were forbidden.
