I LOVE the way this is drawn.

I love how this is an ongoing thing with them falling off the bike and making absurd philosophical inquiries on the way down. Sort of like Calvin and his wagon.

That wasn’t flying. That was falling with style!

You can steer while falling. Ever see a fourteen way star of skydivers? They can veer off and change direction at any time. In fact, for your A License in skydiving, you need to do :

Left turn, right turn, backflip & then right turn, left turn and front flip.

Yup, lots of steering happening. Arch boys, ARCH! :-D
