When I was in school the Hall Monitor was sort of like student government, something that the more obnoxious students were given to do that didn’t actually involve doing anything.

At at Wallace the Brave’s Snug Harbor Elementary School, they absolutely respect the sash. Rose makes sure of that.

I miss HS hall monitor Les Moore, in Funky Winkerbean, with his toy machine gun.
