Eh, in the start you’d think the camp teacher as an awkward one who hasn’t even had three children in his camp before, but now you see he fits right in. He’s just the person to teach the Cartoon Camp!

It means: a rumbling or gurgling noise made by the movement of fluid and gas in the intestines.

Borborygmi is one of my favorite medical terms. I’m sure it’s roots are in the Latin or Greek or whatever, but it’s onomatopoeia to my ears.

Did he check the center page to make sure the staples didn’t poke through a critical feature?

He’s using an edge stapler, not a saddle stapler, so the risk isn’t in the centerfold, but on every inside edge. One hopes a sufficient margin (left recto, right verso) has been allowed for. Edge staplers are much easier to find, though a saddle stapler needs only to penetrate half as many pages.
