Madeline, I know it’s important to you that your son doesn’t starve but please, for the sake of the other guests, take care of your daughter first.

Eww! I wouldn’t want to “pinch” my bread with that thing after Alice has used it on her toe!Petey is apparently not hungry, Madeline. Let him play with his saucer blopped with gravy. If he’s hungry enough, he will eat something besides his arm….

There’s a sign at my favorite Chinese buffet: Children Under 12 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult. Thanks for explaining why.

Well, just to put in a word for Alice, this looks like an awesome time, with family, and strangers, lots of food and toys. Amazing! You go girl, and enjoy life. Let everyone else focus on the unimportant things!:)

My grown son (from whom Petey is modeled) at 52 is still a picky eater. No mayo (ever) no pickles (never tasted one) no casseroles (don’t know if we sneaked in mayo) no lettuce on sandwiches or salad, gags on mashed potatoes etc.He has managed to father 3 beautiful healthy children, who would gladly eat the wall paper off the wall if you served it to them! Petey will be allright.

My daughters are somewhat like Petey at buffets, the oldest will only want to eat rolls, the youngest only wants sweets. They did like a breakfast buffet and they love the Chinese buffet.

Now that’s funny!
