I can’t assert encyclopedic knowledge – or any knowledge, really – but offhand this is the only time I can remember Alice actually understanding Mr. Danders and trying to do something to make HIM comfortable.
Gotta admire the Truthiness of panel 3, in which Alice blurts out the embarrassing fact that Mrs. Otterloop (nor any other member of the family) ever vacuums!
