Beni’s skepticism is a welcome relief when Alice “unquestioningly” believes Petey’s theories (some of which may be fabricated especially for her consumption)….

When I was Alice’s age older, I believed everything my older brother told me. He was my favorite person. Today he’s kind of a curmudgeon, overly religious, and a fairly conservative Republican (maybe even a Dump supporter, although we avoid talking any politics as I’m afraid to ask). I’m glad I wised up and formed my own opinions over the years.
