Poor rabbit.
Somebody needs to supervise a friendship between Big Shirley and Alice.
Polyfill, we hardly know you.
In panel two, does anyone else read Alice’s line as “kill the wabbit! kill the wabbit!”?
Sounds like Daffy’s line.
Cool, the pig has blue and black hair !
Obviously Polyfill is not Alice’s friend….
Presumably Polyfill is washable.
Is Big Shirley a dog? She looks like a pig to me!
Is that “Big Shirley” or is it “Pig Shirley.”
Big Shirley just wants to play
Big Shirley actually did really well with a panicky kid and getting biffed on the nose with a chew toy : )
We know Big Shirley is a dog because they say she’s a dog – but we’re looking at some unidentifiable but benign beast, much like Edward Koren’s ‘what-is-its’.
Well, Polyfill did start out in the world as a dog toy.
Whoa-oh Big Shirley, bam-a-lam…
Does anyone else think this dog looks more like a pig?
I wonder if Richard meant Big Shirley to look porcine, or if he was just not great at drawing dogs…
Oh No! Don’t use Polyfil as a distraction! She was all clean and nice – now she’s all droolified? droolicated? drooled up?
I love this arc. I’d say that it’s one of my favorites, but I could say that about most of them. :)
I never did figure out what kind of dog she is. Beyond big.
Polyfill’s thought balloon: [bleep^]
^ expletives—lots of them
Sure miss Richard Thompson. RIP
Big Shirley is actually a pretty scary looking creature!
Dogs can smell fear, but she must be good natured.
Noooooo! Not Polyfil!
