Here in Raleigh, we have trees (poplars and mimosas for example) that drop leaves every season except for the most dead of winter. The poplars just got done with their “summer is hot and I am stressed and cranky” leaf-drop phase but they aren’t done yet – not until November. My neighbor just started blowing his leaves to the curbline which is very early because we usually don’t get a pickup from the city until right before Christmas (sometimes not until after the new year). Trouble is that he blows them into the road and the cars driving by inevitably bring them to my curbline because our property is at what seems to be a perfect point for leaves to build up, but not move on. So it becomes my problem.
