Regarding yesterday’s $10 bill with the four automobiles on it, I have at least one I hang on to – and if any others pop up, I hang on to them, too. // As of this moment, only the $1 bill has not been redesigned. Look carefully at it, especially the size and placement of the portrait. This was the style of all paper money at the time. Bills have been redesigned at least twice since then: First, the bulbous portraits, offset to the left, then came the monopoly colors – and the overgrown gosh awful purple “5” on the $5 bill – not to mention the orange $10 bill. // Item one: In real time, if Moon Governor ‘s cash is more than fifteen years old, it should stand out pretty much like his antennae and bug eyes! Item two: The four cars on the old $10 bill were Model T’s and they were parked along side the Treasury building, in those days, shown at an oblique angle and in relief perspective. Another telltale sign of “modern” money; the treasury building has been shown straight on, no relief, and has been ever since the bulbous portraits began.
Crime does not pay, but somehow, we have been given such an emotional investment in the Nitrates, almost to the point that many of us wish they do get away!
Hate to be the one to say it but I think ol’ Comet is startin’ t’ smell like glue…. Might be that Vista Bill’s a sucker for them stage stop early bre’kfists ! Yeah, that’s it !!
Wow! Silver gets served breakfast in bed by Sprocket?! What do I have to do to get that kind of service, rob a bank?
The Caribbean could be okay, but there’s always those pesky hurricanes. And that ace detective from Death in Paradise (UK-French TV, on PBS in most US areas). Will snitch Springstein rat out the Nitrates? —Could be, but he might not realize they are wanted soon enough; they may get away clean….

One would thought Sprocket would like the Caribean, instead of Montana, as she likes being barefoot at all times.

“I always wanted a real home, with flowers on the window sill. But if you want to live on the lam in the Caribbean… Meh.”

Guess we’re going to the moon again sometime soon. The day after Moon Governor and comments are already less than half of yesterday!

In panel 3, what’s that mark on Sprocket’s shoulder? It looks like she was wounded.
