Whatever “special ingredient” that Ghost Pepper has it will be masked by more conventional poisons. However he didn’t want the fugu to kill Stagg, just enough to be detected on a conventional tox-screen. A most devious serial killer.

I agree that Ghost is a welcome return to the days of Mr. Gould’s ghastly bad guys appearances.

Ghost has some interesting grammar usage in that last panel. “He had to die in my place.” Sounds ominous to me.
