Daisy carefully replaces the gun and straightens his flower, nervously hoping that Yeti hasn’t noticed anything out of place. Apparently, Yeti considers Daisy to be an inferior replacement for the late Rabbit. That’s not what I would call a ringing endorsement.
That gun sneaked back in like I knew it would. Taking bets that Yeti knew it went missing and is keeping mum .. for the moment. Rabbit was a great hench ….. right up until that one “little” slip.
I see Yeti has shifted to all-blue hair again. This is unsettling, as I’ve seen color pages for the next Sunday or so and he’s back to blue highlights.
Attention class! As we can see in panels 1 and 2, the layering technique Yeti’s beautician has applied to his cut is too extreme. It should blend and flow. That said, the dye job is a welcome change from the bright blues and magentas that you see everywhere these days.
Was Yeti so involved in his work that he never noticed his weapon was missing? Seriously Daisy, you think he did not take a bathroom break and glance over at the counter? Well, time will tell.
Am I the only geezer around here old enough to remember the 1915 film, The Golem? Yeti, to my thinking, closely resembles the title character, while also being an albino. See http://tinyurl.com/yxwfo5wc
As for Daisy, he is dumber than a rock, but lucky so far. If Yeti were aware of all the flubs he’s made already, he would not even consider using him for “the big job.” He’d be sharing quarters with Rabbit….

My guess is that Yeti will die as a result of his own poisons, befitting for a cold blooded killer.

Tough guy to work for. You fail at the task he assigns to you or don’t satisfy him and he terminates you with extreme prejudice…

I’m with Neil on this one. Apparently, Yeti is less impressed with Daisy than he was with Rabbit.

Daisy is looking very much like David Suchet’s version of Hercule Poirot in panel 1.
And… Exposition monologue standing by. On my mark: three… two… one… inaction!

This is even less exciting than Coney’s story.

I think a better word Yeti could use is “dispose” rather than “dispense”!

I am a little disconcerted to see my dialog altered in a couple of the dailies I just received b/w proofs of.

Why would anybody want to work for someone who kills his employees?

Not Frankenstein, please, it’s Frankenstein (The doctor’s) Monster who, BTW, didn’t wear shades. Neil comments on the obvious again..good work..

The scroll in this case reads ‘Rat Fink’. Pretty sure.
