Epilogue on the “Tonsils” case: It seems to have worked out quite well for Matt and he is finally able to say goodbye to muddy rainbows. It seems that he has natural talent and it able to use it now. It’s also nice to see all the four members of the MCU together.
Another message from the Cinnamon Knight. I wonder what it could be. I guess Tracy is wondering the same thing.
Crimestoppers addendum: Watch the episodes of Lockpicking Lawyer on YouTube where he evaluates the ‘security’ of outside lock boxes. They don’t have any security. And they let the thief know exactly where the key is located.
Excellent art work today by Shelley! Very expressive faces. And it’s good to see all the main MCU characters together and “on screen” for a change.
It’s hard to see how Cinnamon Knight’s second message to Tracy will tie in to the Mr. Memory plot, but I am pretty sure it will entangle somehow.
Meanwhile, a note on “hillbilly” stuff, especially for friend Gweedo: I used to listen, when I could manage the early Sunday hour, to a radio show called The Renfro Valley Gatherin" back when I was working in NW Ohio. It was on at an ungodly early hour, and I see that in its current iteration (which I have never heard) WJR-AM in Detroit, which was a station I often had on then, is carrying it at 5:00-5:30 AM Sundays (Eastern time). I listened in the days when Jim Gaskin led the show (deceased 2008). Here is a sample:

The quiet driver gives a lift. Not one to shoot the breeze
His name is Mr. Memory. He’ll do just as he please.
Not known to be too sociable, yet still he has a friend
A little owl named Walter. His companion ‘til the end.
Have you seen The Dot View Show? I saw it on TV
Co-Host has a bulging eye. Those two have chemistry.
Seems they share more than a spot upon the TV dial
“Tonsils” loves to gaze at Dot, and none can dim that smile.
Next, I wish to recommend on WDQP
The Sounds of Plenty music show. They sing sweet harmony.
Grandpa Jones, he said it true. Sang, “Turn Your Radio On”
Gertie, Jewel, and Sparkle on the air just past the dawn.

Is this the first time we’ve seen Shelley’s rendition of Lizz and Lee? They look great….the story so far, not so much

“Yeah, kinda’ too bad THE BEVERLY SMURFBILLIES shoved them to public domain run out of someone’s attic.”
“I don’t know. Those colored lights on the cobwebs give the show a little something almost magical!”
“Sam, that some kid with a flashlight.”

So the sign-off is ‘original’, huh? That “ooo-eeee-ooo-ah-ah” sounds REALLY familiar. And is capering a really good final view for our duo?

Is that Coffeyhead shown on the monitor in the background? One punishment for him is having to watch the Dot View Show in the prison’s break room.

Cinnamon Knight is bringing back the lost art of putting pen to paper. Good for him! The trend now is to: text, tweet or email.

Must be nice to live somewhere so peaceful that the police can watch local variety shows on TV.

1-DOT: You’re not snapping your fingers to the beat of MY show’s theme song ya talentless clod!
ASTRO: I’d like to snap your fingers you bossy shrew!
2-SAM: You can just see the love grow between those two. TRACY’S DAUGHTER: I guess it was tested in fire given what they went through.
3-DT: HEY NOW! We’ve got like a dozen unsolved murders and you’re watching TV?
4-TRACY’S DAUGHTER: What? You think we need to hurry before the victims die – AGAIN?
SAM: HA HA! Good one Tracy’s Daughter…
5-…You got another letter from Louis C.K., Tracy. Is he asking you to clear his “good name”?
DT: ONE, STOP READING MY MAIL! TWO, THAT’S NOT FROM LOUIE C.K.! THREE, IF IT WAS, I WOULD GLADLY LEND HIM A HAND!
SAM: HA HA! LEND HIM A HAND! HE’S DOING OK USING HIS OWN!!!
DT: Huh? What’s so funny? You can be such a jerk sometimes…
SAM: THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!
