Aaaah, the realm of science fiction is being tickled. The alien tech makes this a credible Moon people story. I would definitely have covert cameras going because after he takes out all the usual ones he would still be recorded, with the confidence he is not being watched.

How many cameras are fake ? I think Diet Smith would have more technological advanced hidden cameras .

None of this makes sense.

Why haven’t they already detained Moonieboy?

That’s pretty clever putting out a decoy to attract the motion-seeking cameras, but as I was saying above, the whole attention-attracting thing is likely to get him caught. (I discovered tonight that my reminder alarm for the new strip got turned off somehow. I might start posting earlier now.)

Any one else hearing the “Mission: Impossible” them? No? Just me then.

Who always says this? I’ve certainly never said it.

Isn’t it wonderful that in addition to not providing sufficient security to monitor a dangerous criminal they also failed to search him for any tools / weapons he might be carrying?

Ro-zan, shuffleboard rules require the use of a cue to shoot the disc. You can’t just toss down the lane.

He throws the thing into the room—doesn’t slide it, flings it, the art clearly shows he doesn’t bend down. Then he apparently just leaps over right next to it a fraction of a second. What is this going to accomplish, exactly?

Next strip shows Tracy watching him on the cameras, also trying to figure out what he thinks he’s doing. Ro-Zan is a screwup, honestly he should be used as a distraction by the real villain. Now that would be a story.

I think the cameras would see the disk, and then him, unless I am missing something!

I would not be surprised if this is all a trap to catch him in the act and put him away for a long while. But on the other hand…. I could be completely off base and his next stop is a Pawn shop for a gun….lol

That thing isn’t a frisbee , it’s a Roomba . Look at its little headlight in the third panel . It’s scurrying around catching the attention of the motion seeking cameras and cleaning up Ro-Zan’s footprints at the same time .

Are you sure that is what we Terrans always say, RoZan? I don’t recall ever saying that.

Well,I’ve been away 9 days and Moonboy is still a sneak—-not that I’m shocked.

No armed guards outside the guest house? Wouldn’t the key pads be designed to lock people out rather than to lock people in? After all, there needs to be an escape in the event of a fire. So, if you’re going to detain someone, you need live guards.

Curtis has set a well-planned stage, thus far. No plot problems yet!

Dick Tracy (2024), Vol. 1, by Mad Cave Studios should be out this coming Nov., for sale. Keep your eyes on the prize.

I think the story is challenge test on Charles’ art ability……….whichis excellent!
