We are moving to a senior community where they have a pool. My boss told me he was jealous, going where there is a pool and no kids running around. I told him, “Yeah, but who wants to look at a bunch of old ladies in bikinis?” He said maybe their grandkids will visit, and thought it was pretty funny. My wife though, failed to see the humor in that exchange.

The reason they’re still eating is because you’re a collection of hammermills?

The others are still eating because they ae enjoying each others company. Oh and having REAL conversations something you guys don’t have.,

Yes, but that other group won’t be able to go home and soak the spillage out of their clothes to make soup.

It could be that they are talking while they eat and thus taking longer to finish the same amount you got on your plates. The only thing y’all say while eating is salt, pepper or butter…

They should converge on that table and ask them if they plan to eat the rest of that food.

I have always been a slow eater. You would not believe some of the comments I get….fortunately, not from friends.

It’s a 50th anniversary party – even worse when they demand more! Can’t they just lick the spillage off each other?

I would expect them to ask the server for another plate of food.

I don’t know, Burl. Maybe they were eating from plates rather than a trough. Ya think?
