I’ve owned many items that said ‘dry clean only’ that I just washed in woolite and hung to dry, even ironed with a cool iron if needed. It really depends on the fabric. That and I don’t really care for the dry cleaning smell.
Dry cleaning sometimes leaves a greasy oily french fries feel on the clothes. I think some dry cleaners let the solvent get too saturated and old before changing it.

I guess they keep the regular garbag", and just dispose of the excess..(whatever garbag" is !)

Gotta say, I kind of agree. If i’m buying an expensive dress for a fancy affair, I will consider dry clean only. Otherwise, not so much.

all my clothes are dry clean… I take ‘em off, shake ’em out real good, stand ’em up in the corner, and they’re good to go next day!…… what??
