While cleaning out some old drawers, I came across some Sunday color comics from the late 1990s. I forgot how nice it was to spread them out on the table and soak them in. There were 2 full sheets, 8 pages in all.
Ha! Someone has pointed out before how the human characters are always wearing a cap…or their heads are completely off screen…is it because the humans don’t matter? Or because Nick and Mason can’t draw faces? Inquiring minds wanna know!
We stopped taking the newspaper. At one time the comics were color, but they changed back to B&W. The rest of the paper is one small article per page of advertising. And a very high percentage of those articles are leftist editorials disguised as news. Those people have surrounded themselves with so many socialists they think they are mainstream.
I do not hit my Dogs with anything! I give them a stern talking to! And by the looks on their face, I think they would rather be hit! My current Rottweiler is such a good Dog every day! I don’t even have to watch him when he’s outside! We live on eight acres, and he comes right back to the house, without me having to call him! ☺
Newspapers made a big mistake when they decided to let advertising pay the bills instead of their readers: made them slaves to their advertisers and accustomed their readers to getting a lot for very little money. Hard to change that.
Comics show up nice ’n big on this 22" monitor, fed from a laptop. I get way more selection here than what a paper has to offer and substantially larger than postage stamp size too !Oh, and coffee goes just as good this way as a “spread sheet” on a kitchen table.

Once, out city paper was six pages. Couldn’t train a dog on that thin premise of a newspaper…
