Knox demurred, "Mr. President," he wrote, "do not let so great an achievement suffer from any taint of legality!" Kirby: Hey, Z! How come you know all this Panama stuff anyway? Zonker: Briefing books, Kirby! When I was in Samoa a few years back, my Uncle Duke was working on a plan to annex it! Kirby: Annex the canal? Really? Zonker: Sure! It's indefensible, you know! Kirby: Oh, wow! Is your Uncle Duke a general or something?
