In answer to Dick-t–until someone successfully explains to me North American “football” (not proper football, which Yanks/Canucks call “soccer”).

(given that none has done so in nearly twoscore years, …)

Actually, I think a lot of us have some questions about any secretive society of wealthy and privileged men, whether we liked Dubya or not. There have been plenty of Democratic leaders who were members of that society too, and I notice they’re not very forthcoming with information about what goes on behind those closed doors, either.

As long as the economy continues to unravel around us, so I’d say for the next 3 years, 2 months, and one week.

“Bush Bash?” I’d say this is more about the Skull and Bones and the culture that created and supports it.

A well-aimed shoe is a Bush bash. I could stand to see some more of it.

    Gweedo Murray says:

The Daily Planet and the one that Peter Parker works at will be the two left standing. Hope they’re not in the same town.

The Bugle is in NYC The Daily Planet is in Metropolis.

Joe-Minotaur … if you lived in Ontario, Canada you could take advantage of a recently-announced $100,000 government plan to make cricket more accessible to the stinking masses. Yup, taxpayer dollars well spent!

In comment on GEE1A: “online start-ups that have been hailed as the future of journalism”? Excuse me, I think not – they’re not even the PRESENT of journalism. “no one should welcome their [newspapers’] demise.” How true: We won’t miss the water till the well runs dry.

How about when you stop bashing Clinton and Carter (talk about raising dead issues!). And don’t even get me started on Nixon and Reagan. Bush I almost looks good by comparison.

Wow! He’s not going to go anywhere near Obama with his strip, is he? I’m not sure he can keep that up for 4 whole years…

Trudeau has no obligation to create comics about Obama (or, for that matter, anybody else a right-wing troll wants him to create a comic about).

Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me. He’s not obligated to do anything, but if he is to stay true to the ‘form’ his strip has taken over the years… plus, Bushie stuff will only be good for another year or so, and then?
