Today’s comments, with few exceptions, strike me as politically self-serving and selfish. We should be using our comments to publicly remember and honor those who have sacrificed so much, so that we, in this country, have the freedom to express our opinions in this or any other forum we choose.I also feel that, not only should we be honoring today, our fallen heroes, but also those other heroes, the wounded warriors, who also sacrificed so much for their country and for us.I wish you all a safe and happy Memorial Day and hope you keep the true meaning of the day with you.
