The low state of high society, nicely highlighted in that last panel. Well, it’s hardly news that many of the things we all prize are hollow shells.

If you haven’t seen the film “The Ruling Class” with Peter O’Toole from 1971, you’re missing a tour de force by the great actor. One of my all time favorites.
