This might be the saddest thing I’ve read about this person. Of course considering that it was already written decades ago and putting it into perspective. (Or, one of the saddest things I’ve read about humankind.)

@TULPOEID_ Aptly said. Trump banned televised press briefings thus limiting freedom of the press. When you think that Trump can’t get any worse, he does.

When you are as powerful and as famous as God you can touch anything you want without asking first.

I suggest that every form of media boycott Trump for one month; no interviews, no press briefings, no coverage of any kind, no mention of his name at all. I suspect he would wilt.

My comment yesterday seems to have anticipated today’s strip.

Amazing how Trudeau had Trump’s number down, many years ago. By all rights, GBD should have his image on the Sistine Chapel ceiling, as a prophet.

GT was so prophetic in this arc. What a shame. You don’t have to be very smart to know that the trump presidency will not end well. As I noted the other day, our only saving grace from trump may be in trump’s total incompetence. Pass healthcare? Nope. Pass tax reform? Nope. Trump couldn’t get Chris Christie to pass the brussel sprouts.

Those who didn’t want to talk about politics in Doonesbury, I just want to say, you see? It’s not so bad… I mean trump is not so great, but it won’t help if we don’t discuss the situation.

The thing I love about this comic is, what was written 30 years ago, is still true today. He hasn’t changed at all.

I remember hearing some say that trump’s kids would play a prominent role in his administration and thought they were kidding, before he was prez. Silly me.

Some are waiting for the leak that trump asked Putin if he would publicly clear him for Russian election meddling in 2016….

He’s proving how big of a total fool he is at the G-20…and EVERYONE around the world is LAUGHING at him!

Considering how awful he is and how terrifying the USA is laughing would be from fear.

The USA hasn’t been terrifying since Pres. Bush. One of them, anyway. Unless you think the idea of such a Bozo having the nuclear codes.

I believe if he tried to launch nukes without an awfully good reason, the military wouldn’t actually launch them. This is the first time I’ve had that thought about any President.
