I could never entirely decide if Hunk-Ra was supposed to be a real and actual channeling of an ancient spirit or it was just Boopsie using an alternate personality to express anger and other negative emotions she didn’t feel comfortable expressing as “herself.” Trudeau seemed to drift back and forth across that line a lot, magic realism style.
What gender is this Hunk-ra entity? Or is that a meaningless question these days? B.D. seems to be quite Old School about these things, and could feel uncomfortable if Hunk-ra made a surprise appearance at a delicate moment on their wedding night.
