My brother was in the Navy, came out without a scratch. Then he went to Kuwait to work for a firm a couple of his buddies had started.

They had an accident when a commercial truck ran a light or something (he’s never told us the details). It beheaded the driver and killed the other up front. My brother was in the back and not injured badly. He could not remember it for months, his brain was protecting him, we think. He’ll never recover totally … At least he can function now, and takes care of his daughter and wife. He reminds me of our Dad that way
