I saw what you did there Trudeau. I felt like getting a movement together to have a ton or two of KC Ginger Mints dumped on Giuliani’s front porch.

As they say “Put up or Shut up.” If a repub is your representative in the house keep emailing them about what they are supposed to be doing for your state and the American people.

Yeah… Congress should focus on what’s important… Like removing that pesky borrowing limit that stop the dems from spending more money than the country can produce. How else will they stop the inflation? By being financially responsible and trying to generate more wealth for the poors and middle-class people? Ludicrous!

There was a long period when society got a little better and then made people a little better. Then the better people worked to make society a bit better. Slow process and most of the steps were small, and sometimes things went the wrong way for a few steps, but the long-term average was for society and people to get better together.

But maybe things have changed lately. Society is still getting more stuff and more knowledge, but most of the people seem to be going to wrong way, becoming more and more stupid and short-sighted and selfish and less and less capable of making society better. There are still a few geniuses floating around, but the wealth is going to rich b@stards whose special talent is playing games with money, especially the few VCs who can herd unicorns.

@sparky12358 – I’ve discovered that responding to people like “SUN” above is basically a waste of time – their minds are made up and they don’t want to be bothered with actual facts. I have yet to read a reply to legitimate criticism of the RWNJs or the trolls that contains actual facts and/or links to legitimate and reliable sources of information. Most of them cite faux news, OAN, Breitbart, etc. The one or two who do cite legitimate sources cherry-pick the quotes and then take that small portion of the whole entirely out of context.

You need to educate yourself. THE MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN APPROVED BY CONGRESS (with both Republicans and Democrats voting to authorize the spending) AND SUBSEQUENTLY SPENT BY THE ADMINISTRATION.

Your position is like running up a massive bill on your credit card and then refusing to pay it. What is so hard about understanding that?

John Durham Under Pressure to Disclose Details of Trump Criminal Probe

Barr appointed him special counsel and the two reportedly traveled together to Italy in the fall of that year where Italian officials were said to have given them an unexpected tip about suspicious financial dealings relating to Trump.

The New York Times reported on the Italian tip on Thursday as part of the newspaper’s investigation into the Durham probe and said that Barr and Durham considered the matter too serious to ignore.

Rather than hand the matter over to another prosecutor, Durham investigated and was granted criminal prosecutorial powers by Barr for the first time over the course of his probe, the report said.

However, no charges were brought and the details of that investigation and the supposed Italian tipoff have not been made public. Since The New York Times’ article, calls have grown for more information to be made public.

“Barr and Durham are being mocked as incompetent doofuses, yet they actually seem to have quite ably and successfully buried that tip from the Italian government about Trump criminality, so their cover-up project was not a failure,” tweeted David Frum of The Atlantic.

Writer Melissa J. Peltier responded to Frum, asking: “Why can’t our IC [Intelligence Community] ask the Italians?”

Oh, the GOP is moving ahead. Just floated a plan for a national sales tax, the most regressive form of taxation. Even the rank-and-file Republicans don’t want that.

I saw a CNN poll trending the other day that 73% of respondents thought the GOP had the wrong priorities. I guess they weren’t listening to what McCarthy and the rest of them were saying about what they’d do when they got elected. It was all about revenge on their political enemies. They don’t care about anything else.

My vote didn’t count in the last general election due to Ohio Republican gerrymandering and had that failed, it would have been nullified by the process of the Electoral College! How about YOUR vote?

It’s because Republicans have no desire to govern. What they want is to rule.
