I hope he doesn’t get a medal. Those are usually reserved for those who do something extremely brave (and arguably stupid), which saved the lives of others. I listened to many a commendation presentation. They wanted us to know such efforts were appreciated but also what they could have cost the hero. Many were awarded posthumously.
Speaking of the CIA, The Wall Street Journal reports that their gift shop has a “pink-and-white striped baby onesie that says, “The Result of an Undercover Operation””.
