One person lift the tree? Only if there is weightlifter in the house. As to the artificial tree – we keep the box in the basement. We have one that has a top and 6 pie shaped sections below it that hang from a ring. We can leave the sections individually covered in lights. Each section is carried downstairs to the box individually, with the top and pole mechanics stored on top of the other sections. No need to carry the entire tree at once or carry the box.
