Ralph: George C. Scott!
Patrick: Now what?
June: Alastair Sim!
Ralph: We're arguing over who was the best Ebenezer Scrooge!
Patrick: I liked Mr. Magoo.
Ralph: He's right! I change my vote!
Of the serious performances, I agree with Ralph – George C. Scott had the best performance I’ve ever seen. But in terms of the movie I like to watch most, it’s the Muppet version.
The Patrick Stewart version goes on my great list, as does the George C. Scott and the Alistair Sim. Ranked only alphabetically, as I said yesterday. Much more fun discussing the various films and what made them all great than it is to have a meaningless series of contradictions.

Arguing about opinions is so pointless.
