And if the relief pitcher doesn’t lose the game, he is credited with a save. But if he does lose the game, the original pitcher is credited with a loss.

Fagan must have seen the story about Clayton Kershaw being pulled early from a perfect game bid…https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/dodgers-clayton-kershaw-removed-from-perfect-game-bid-after-seven-spotless-innings-in-season-debut/

We need for the Cubs to lose the world series, it all went nuts after they won in 2016.When that happen the insanity will be pulled back.I’m a Cubs fan, but the safety of the world comes first.

Oddly enough, Pivetta pitched a complete game for the Red Sox last night. Gave up a homer to first batter he faced but only one more hit the rest of the way.

Then there the case of Cincinnati pitcher that pitched a no-hitter, but still lost.

Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta actually managed to get a complete (though not perfect) game last night, which was cool.

Remember, Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati without getting a hit.

To watch a game now it’s easier to go to the ballpark, Bally or Sinclair sports has ruined the TV experience.

Continuing with my story from last week when Norman was at work, it’s a good thing I got someone to come do the repair. You never want to hear a plumber say, “I’ve got bad news.” But it just meant he didn’t have the size I needed with him. He’ll be back tomorrow, no extra charge.

Yo Norm: you’re rooting for the wrong team. Doh! Otherwise you need to change hats.

Ask Fergie Jenkins what he thinks of that. He’ll give you an honest answer. I wish Bob Gibson could say something about it too…

This may be the most intelligent observation Norman has ever made.
