Reminds me of co-worker “Tony” who would ask for a day off for his mother’s funeral…..We figured her coffin was something akin to a Jack-in-the-box set-up…Had to be put under quite often…..
Reminds me of what happened to my son. In Ontario the drinking age is 19 so on his 19th birthday we took him out for dinner and told him to order his first legal beer. The server asked him for his ID then promptly refused to serve him. It seems his Ontario Health card had his birthday in October instead of September. We all laughed and he had to wait another month.
