When I was figuring out what to study in college (I should have sat it out a couple of years, but that’s long ago), I saw Library Science as a listed discipline… I did not consider that, as it seemed a bit over the top to have a degree to be a librarian.
I’m sure those who did go that direction will have a different perspective. ;-)

I remember learning about the Dewey Decimal system in grade school. Didn’t get it then, don’t remember it now.
