No longer the “age” of innocence.

I’m with the Mom on this one.

She needs to find a place that caters to active seniors, not one that only provides Bingo nights and rocking chairs. I’ve seen billboards in Florida that advertise such communities. Not that I’m looking for one.

I’ve looked, most think you are rich and there prices prove that thought. Less expensive ones lack things that I deem necessary. A big one is a washer and dryer of our own in our living space. I will not go to a facility without that.

Yes it’s hard, apparently, to find a place where you’re not the only Progressive.

When my grandfather had a stroke, he had to go to physical therapy sessions with a similarly elderly group. He told us, “I’m disgusted. I don’t belong here with all these OLD people.”

At age 89, he was probably actually the oldest person in the group.

Poor Len, he has a real task ahead of him!

There are a lot of gray heads here in my geezer village.

Bow to the inevitable and get a room ready for her. My MIL moved in with us recently and keeps stealing my coffee and cookies.

She has shoulder length hair. She hasn’t given up on life yet
