So as the chemicals and contaminants leech off of the fence they can drain into the garden.

When my wife and I moved into our home so many, many years ago, I went out into the nearby woods and, over a period of a couple weeks, dug up and replanted 45 or so trees (all types and sizes) along the property line (3 sides). I now have a magnificent green backyard, very private. Patience is required.

I’ll bet he is one of those lawn enthusiasts. Don’t get that, grass is boring!!!

Prepare for the bunny invasion! We have a large muscular cat that patrols the neighborhood gardens.

I have raised veggie beds…plus one on the ground that I plant FOR the bunnies. My house is just outside the city and I have a large property. The bunnies raid their patch I planted for them, and leave the neighbours alone. My raised beds give me all the veggies I need, and the extra go back to my woodland friends.

She wants a garden, she can plant it and tend it.

Tried a garden once. The only thing, above or below ground, that didn’t get eaten by critters were some tomatoes.
