Ouch poor girl.

I joined Endtown fairly late (end of the trial), what has been revealed about what resources the colony has in terms of food, medicine, and so on?

Doug – It would pay you to go back and read from the beginning. Fascinating stories all the way through. And in answer to your question about food resources – ‘Beans, beans, the musical fruit…’

@douglasdao: Not much. There are some stores in the upper areas maintained by the guard rats, but in Endtown, it’s mostly canned goods, heavy on the beans. There is work being done with growing food, but no real luck yet. I do wonder where all the tobacco is coming from, though.

Jolene started it, but it looks like both her and Heather will regret this for the rest of their lives.

The architecture of the hospital for some reason reminds me of Doc’s office in “Gunsmoke.”

I just can’t get invested in this story arc…September 19th: “There is no mutagenic virus!” Why is no one in Endtown concerned about this?

The Doc will always remind me of J. Jonah Jameson for some reason. I can really imagine his voice in the Doc.

I fear it will be a while before Jolene can face Heather… or anyone else for a while.

Methinks it’s time for our former Mayor to consider a new career in Private Investigation.

May be a good idea to run an article in the paper about what happened. Maybe the guilt will cause the female wolf to rethink her actions. Or maybe now.

Oof…what a shame.

The whole thing is a mess.

So I guess Heather is a horse. I would be hard pressed to lay the blame at anyone’s feet. The wolf’s rude remark, Jolene’s reaction, Heather’s hoofing the wolf at the wolf throwing the trash bin, lots of partial faults. I wouldn’t want to be a pig. especially at this time. It’s a mystery.

Oh, that Docs office does remind of Gunsmoke a lot.

I bet when Doc Chase was a human, before the war, he never imagined his career would take a turn into this direction. In fact, I’m sure. He never thought he would be a mole-like creature, performing eye surgery on a talking pig, two miles underground. It’s not the sort of thing you’d guess, even totally randomly.

This will get worse before it gets better, unfortunately since they are underground it won´t be darkest before the sunrise.

Heather has realized that she started the fight and Jolene’s injuries are her fault. She can’t blame the wolf, who was just talking. Walter will probably jump to conclusions, though, and try to bring the wolf to justice.

Hmm . . . remember that mutants have a healing factor. Flask didn’t regrow her tail, but what if Jolene regrows her eye? A good thing? Not necessarily. Consider that we know at least one of the missing was taken alive. If they’re headed for the table, why do that? There would be little difference in carrying the unconscious over carrying the dead. But what if someone’s discovered a way to enhance the healing factor? Say, despite what happened to Flask, regrowing limbs. And what if the missing are being held for periodic harvest?

Will the eye grow back? You know what they said about mutant healing powers a few storylines ago…
