If Philo gets summarily ejected by the mayor, it seems an even more clear indication that Endtown is a dictatorship rather than a democracy. No hearing, no due process.
Wally survived quite a while on his own top-side, but Philo may not. Especially if he’s booted out with no supplies, which would essentially make his ejection a death sentence.
I, too, am curious about the approaching rats. Will they do what Jake says and send Philo up the elevator on a one-way trip, or will both Jake and Philo be ejected from Endtown by the rats? Definitely would be a twist to have two individuals who detest one another be forced to work together to survive.
