They’re like mice in a maze where the route keeps changing. They’re smarter than mice, though, and fully understand the urgency of the situation. Assuming that Wally & Co. are in an area with an exit, I hope the kids can track them by sound through the walls and join them soon.
What was the thing in the Stephen King book? A kid saved another kid falling out of a tree by grabbing him by his hair, and when they got down the saved kid wanted to fight because he’d pulled his hair?
Along with the rooms being absorbed, the hallways are getting narrower. I went back a few strips, and the difference shows. How much time do they have left?
Has anyone noticed that this latest cat character may be Duffy’s little brother? The Cardoodle version may have gone up when the sun went supernova, but this fellow resembles him.
I really, really hope Aaron doesn’t give us the bad ending with these two. This comic series can get quite dark despite its cartoony nature. Partly what draws me to it, but man, I don’t want to see these kids gets snapped.

Lucky kids. I hope they find an exit. FYI. Never pick an animal up by the ears or tail. Unless you want to test their bite strength.

If done correctly, it is safe to pick up some species by their tail. But felids? NOPE.

Hers is a sad tail… Let’s just hope their tale isn’t sad, too.

She would be wise to keep that long tail pulled (gently) up over her shoulder, as they scurry around corners which might SNAP shut behind them!
