A 5 paragraph essay is a good way to teach giving good arguments. You must give 3 reasons (examples) for your initial statement. Too much of today’s opinions are not thought out and forced down other people throats as fact.
ANYthing (well, almost) that helps develop critical thinking, coherent expression, an understanding of the language and the essential difference between opinion and fact is worthwhile! In fact, necessary.
