Twig says, "There was a special about teen obesity on TV last night." Girl says, "I thought it was on anorexia." Girl says, "TV has serious eating disorders."

Their moms are probably right to be worried. All through high school my daily meals consisted of a cinnamon roll for mid-morning snack, and a hot dog, a Coke, and Fritos for lunch. Sometimes I wonder how I survived, but I did, and I do eat a lot healthier now, which is probably why I am a very active 76 y/o woman.

Health care by TV. When sensibly, and proactively done, it can be very effective.

My family always ate healthy, but we didn’t call it that. We called it “delicious”.
